Heat exchange efficiency decay
One of the most common faults of solar air source water heaters during long-term operation is the decrease in heat exchange efficiency. The main manifestations are that the hot water temperature does not meet the standard and the water temperature fluctuates greatly. The core factors leading to this problem include scaling, dust accumulation or poor refrigerant flow on the surface of the microchannel evaporator or brazed plate heat exchanger.
High-end products are usually equipped with automatic backwashing function and anti-corrosion hydrophilic coating, which effectively delays the scaling cycle and ensures the lasting cleanliness of the heat exchange surface. Our products use nano-level hydrophilic coating microchannel heat exchangers to effectively reduce the adhesion of air particles and significantly extend the service life of the heat exchanger.
Refrigerant leakage problem
The air source heat pump system relies on the refrigerant in the refrigeration cycle to transfer heat. Refrigerant leakage will directly cause the system to fail to heat. Common leakage points are concentrated in the pipe welding joints, expansion valve connections, and compressor and condenser interfaces.
Products using high-precision welding technology and double-layer sealing protection design have a leakage rate of less than 0.2% after pressure resistance testing. Our products are 100% helium leak tested at the production end to ensure that the refrigerant system is completely sealed before leaving the factory, ensuring long-term and stable operation of the system.
Defrost system failure
In low temperature and high humidity environments, the evaporator surface is prone to frost. If the defrost system fails, it will seriously affect the heat exchange efficiency and even cause the compressor to overload and shut down. Common faults include failure of the defrost controller, four-way valve stagnation, and damage to the electric heating tube.
High-performance products are usually equipped with intelligent defrost algorithms and multi-point temperature and humidity monitoring technology to accurately identify the frosting state and efficiently switch the defrost mode. Our heat pump system uses the fourth-generation PID intelligent defrost logic, which shortens the defrost time by 20% and significantly improves the system stability.
Corrosion or leakage of the inner tank of the hot water storage tank
After long-term operation, the hot water storage tank of the water heater may have problems such as corrosion of the metal inner tank and cracked welds, which directly lead to serious consequences such as leakage, insulation failure, and hot water pollution.
High-quality products usually use food-grade enamel inner tank or 316 stainless steel one-piece inner tank, which has high temperature pressure resistance and corrosion resistance. Our water tank liner is made by high-temperature seamless rolling forming process, and its compressive strength exceeds the national standard by 30%, effectively eliminating the risk of weld corrosion and having a service life of more than 10 years.
Electrical control system failure
The control system is the "brain" of the solar air source water heater. Once the controller freezes, the display is abnormal, the sensor signal is misjudged, and other failures occur, the system will not be able to operate normally.
High-end equipment is equipped with industrial-grade main control chips and independent fault protection circuits, and has the characteristics of strong adaptability to voltage fluctuations and high anti-interference ability. Our intelligent control system supports remote monitoring and OTA upgrades, can diagnose faults in real time and automatically restore some abnormal operating states, reducing user maintenance costs.
Solar collector performance attenuation
Solar collector panels are exposed to the outdoors for a long time, and are prone to dust obstruction, aging of heat-absorbing coatings, or glass cracks, which leads to a decrease in heat collection efficiency. Low-quality products are also prone to internal water vapor condensation and corrosion of internal structures due to poor sealing.
Our collector uses high-transmittance, low-iron tempered glass with a transmittance of ≥92%. With nano-selective coating, the 10-year heat collection attenuation does not exceed 8%. The fully sealed integrated welded frame structure has strong wind pressure resistance and IP65 waterproof performance, ensuring long-term stable outdoor operation.
Unstable operation of the water pump
If the hot water circulation pump cannot operate due to motor overload, impeller blockage or abnormal controller linkage, it will directly affect the hot water circulation and water output speed, and the user experience will decrease.
Our water pump adopts high head and low noise design, matching intelligent frequency conversion control strategy. The system can dynamically adjust the flow rate according to the demand for hot water, realize hot water "on-the-go", and significantly reduce energy consumption.
Temperature probe failure
Aging, failure or poor contact of the temperature probe will cause the system to judge the temperature incorrectly, resulting in abnormal hot water temperature, frequent start and stop of the compressor and other problems.
The system using imported NTC high-sensitivity temperature sensing elements has the advantages of fast response speed, small error and long life. The temperature sensing system of our product has a triple redundancy design. Once the main probe is abnormal, it can automatically switch to the backup channel to ensure continuous and uninterrupted operation.
